Crocheting dolls of the popular streaming group AMP helped take my crocheting content to the next level.
This was my first time making such detailed pieces. I started this process in April 2024. All six dolls took about 237.5 hours to make. The guys loved them and reacted to them on their streaming channels. Kai Cenat's doll was even featured on an event flyer! The dolls gained large media attention from celebrities like SZA!
The dolls allowed me to stay connected with the group, and I eventually landed a partnership deal with their skincare brand: TONE Exclusive.
Crocheting Giveon
I had an AMAZING 23rd birthday.
After crocheting AMP, I continued elevating my doll-making skills. Giveon is one of my favorite artists, and he had a show the night before my birthday in Atlanta. At others shows, he did meet-and-greets with fans after the show. I thought, Why not create a doll and gift it to him?
I never expected to end up backstage! After posting my video of crocheting the doll, Giveon commented asking for it. I was over the moon! At the show, he was kind enough to give me floor seats, merch, and allow me to meet him after the show. Best birthday ever!
