This course explored the full journey of creating a fashion brand, from concept to consumer. I developed an original brand by defining its identity, target market, product line, and retail strategy while planning each stage of the product development process. The project included material sourcing, manufacturer selection, production planning, supply chain management, merchandising, pricing, and product launch strategies, providing a well-rounded understanding of how fashion products move from an idea to the marketplace.
Everlace is a sustainable lingerie brand based in Bellflower, California, with all manufacturing taking place within the state. By keeping production local, the brand reduces transportation-related carbon emissions while avoiding many of the costs and delays associated with overseas manufacturing, including tariffs, customs processing, port congestion, and high international shipping expenses. Made with recycled fibers, Everlace reflects a commitment to creating thoughtfully designed products while prioritizing sustainability, efficiency, and quality throughout the production process.
